Hello!
My name is Frank Braafhart
I have been principal trumpet player in the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra since 2017. Before moving to Norway, I worked in the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Sweden and Germany in various orchestras and ensembles.
Cornet player
I have been playing as Principal in the Stavanger Brass Band since 2019.
Yamaha artist
As a Yamaha artist, I play Yamaha instruments and give clinics for brass throughout Europe.
Teacher/coach
I work privately as a teacher/coach in the Stavanger area. I am a permanent instructor for the solo cornets in the Jåtten school band and give seminars for a number of school and adult bands in the area.
I give courses for groups on various topics that are relevant to brass players and musicians in general.
